Alyssa Anh Doan, age 18, of Burnaby, British Columbia passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Alyssa was born on February 2, 2004 and was the youngest of four siblings. She is survived by her parents Maria and Paul Doan, her older siblings Lennard, Victor and Isabella, as well as her grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She had recently graduated from Burnaby South Secondary School. Alyssa had a beautiful smile and a generous, fun-loving and vibrant spirit that will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A funeral service for Alyssa will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1. A funeral mass will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Parish, 1612 E 18th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5N 2H6. Following the funeral mass will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Garden of Gethsemani Cemetery, 15800 32 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3S 9V1.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome contributions to be donated to charity in Alyssa's name.
