November 11, 1947 – April 29, 2021
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mom, baba, sister, aunt and dear friend, Ana Buljevic. She passed away peacefully in her home on April 29th 2021 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 21-year battle with cancer which she fought with such strength, positivity and grace.
She was born in Ružić, Croatia on Nov 11, 1947, she was predeceased by her parents Mate and Vinka. Ana is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Tomislav, her loving sons Robert (Michelle), Ivan (Maria), Deni (Laura) and her precious grandchildren who brought her great joy, Kolby, Luka, Ava, Mia, Taya, and Mateo. She is also survived by her adoring sisters, Marija (Ante deceased), Mladenka (Miro), Damirka (Goran) as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She will be remembered for her “heart of gold”, generosity, determination, kindness, hard working and loving ways. Her love for her family was immense…and she was so proud of all her beautiful grandchildren who she spent so much quality time with. She shared her joy and hospitality with so many individuals and made all feel welcome with a smile that would light up a room. She had the incredible ability to connect with all children who crossed her path & held them near and dear to her heart. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Forever in our hearts
The service will be livestreamed on Saturday May 8th at 1:00pm from Holy Cross Parish in Burnaby, BC. https://youtu.be/Wb1iRqUM3Jc
