Ana Poldrugo(vac)

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Ana Poldrugo(vac). She passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023, at the age of 102 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 8, 1921, in Labin, Istria, Croatia. Predeceased by her loving husband Guiseppe Poldrugo, sons Vlado (Edmee) and Sergio. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Marica (Bruno), Sonia, and daughter-in-law Jelica; grandchildren, Antonella (Gordon), Anthea (Richard), Joseph (Tatijana), Igor (Jaime), Syliva (Matthew), Robert, and Jennifer (Paul); great-grandchildren, Samantha, Jenna, Mercedes, Holden, Adrian, Delilah, Martina, Victoria, Isabella, Luke, Michael, Nathaniel, Vanessa and Emma; and family in Croatia. She will always be remembered for her love and generosity and leaves us all with many, many, many beautiful memories.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, BC on Thursday September 21, 2023 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
