Angela Marie Bedard

Born December 19th, 1960 in Kelowna, BC to Elphege and Blanche Bedard, who have predeceased her. She is survived by her siblings; Colette (Marcel deceased) Girard, Joe (Isabel) Bedard, Madeline (Cliff) Williams, Annette (Doug) Jensen, Irene (Mervin) Larson , Paul (Linda) Bedard and Louise (Claes) Petri, many nieces, nephews, first and second cousins, extended family, Kristy (Michael) Cooper, Patrick Trainor, Frankie Unrau and family, Shelly Brown and her work family at BACI (Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion)…. And many many many friends!

Angela attended SunnyVale School in Kelowna for a few years and as a teen joined the Cooper family in Burnaby. Angela was blessed for many years with her incredible extended family and upon the demise of Glen and Joyce, Kristy, their daughter became her main care giver and the legacy lived on. For over thirty years Angie was part of the work shop in Burnaby now known as BACI and was well know for her great sense of humor and her diligent wood working skills. In 2017 she became part of Patrick Trainor and Frankie Unrau’s family where she joined her best friend Shelly Brown. Over the years Angela became “auntie” to Cataleya Unrau ( Jordan and Nicole) around which time she also said she was “retired” from the work shop!

Angela, though little in stature, was BIG in personality; smiles and hugs! We miss you Angie, and as you reminded us often, we know that you are dancing with Jesus!!!

A Celebration Mass will be held at St Michael’s Parish in Burnaby in April of 2024. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local SPCA society.
