It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Rita Sestito on March 25, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Born in Gasperina, Reggio di Calabria, Italy on January 27, 1939. She is predeceased by her husband Belfiore and son Vincenzo. She is survived by her loving family, sons Joe (Roseanne), Silvio, Riccardo (Danelle), and Dario; grandchildren Rozina, Isabella, and Natalia. Angela married her beloved Belfiore in 1960, they emigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver, where they raised 5 sons. Angela enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren especially her Sunday dinners. Prayers will be offered 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6350 Nanaimo St. Vancouver, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:30 pm. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby, BC. Donations in Angela's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
