Angelo Neri, born January 6, 1935 in Reggio, Calabria, Italy, passed away peacefully at the Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, British Columbia on June 29, 2023 at the age of 88 years. Angelo is survived by his loving wife Giuseppina, his son Robert (Marisa), his daughters Mirella Solteiro (Nelson), Sabrina Santucci (Dennis), his granddaughters Bianca and Adriana Santucci. Angelo is also survived by his sisters Fanny Ciampi, Adelina Neri, Sina Neri, and many other family and friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Bell Burnaby Funeral Home, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00am, followed by Entombment at Ocean View Burial Park (South Mausoleum), 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Angelo’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation.
