Mrs. Ann Wan Sai Cheong passed away peacefully on the morning of Dec 27th 2025. Ann was born in Guangzhou (formerly known as Canton), China in May 19th 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. Fung of Canton, China. She moved to Hong Kong in the 1940s with her parents, where she met her future husband (the late Raphael Wan Sai Cheong, from Mauritius). They married in 1962 in Hong Kong.
She worked as a primary school teacher in the Hong Kong public school systems, where she taught Chinese and Mathematics until her retirement in the late 1980s. Afterward, she and her husband moved and settled in Vancouver in 1992.
She is survived by her son, William Wan, who is currently residing in Florida.
Evening Visitation to occur from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday January 30, 2026 at Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St. Burnaby, BC). The Requiem Mass to occur at 11 am on Saturday January 31, 2026 at Holy Family Parish 4851 Beatrice St. Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow mass at 2:45 pm on Saturday January 31, 2026 at Ocean View Burial Park (4000 Imperial St. Burnaby, BC).
