Anna Vero

the core of our family; our dear Mother, Anna Vero. Born on June 28, 1942 in Giovinazzo, Puglia, Italy. Anna passed away on January 31, 2025, She was predeceased by her parents Bartolomeo and Maria Mastandrea, siblings Graziella, Michele,Vincenzo, and Luigi. Anna will be dearly missed by husband Giuseppe, her sons Cosimo (Nancy), Roberto (Claudia), 3 grandchildren, Stefania, Matteo, and Chiara sister Girolama, in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Anna loved her family and it was her number one focus. Weekly dinners with her husband, sons, daughter in-laws and above all her grandchildren was what brought her the ultimate joy. Seeing her family together meant everything to her. She also enjoyed working at Moscrop High School where she worked for 49 years right up until 2 days before passing away.

We will miss your generousness, your phone calls, caring demeanor for all that met you and your amazing cooking.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 12, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, British Columbia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at St. Mary's, 5251 Joyce St, Vancouver, British Columbia. Entombment will be held after the mass at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby British Columbia
