Arthur Jun Yuen Ho

July 22, 1923 – November 16, 2012

Art passed away peacefully in his 89th year. He is now with his wife Betty, who predeceased him in 2008. He leaves behind daughter Betsy (Daisen) Gee-Wing, grandchildren Kendall and Deanna, and son Arnold (Fiona). He was the youngest of 9 children born to his parents Ho Kow and Ho Choy Shee. He is survived by his brother Benjamin (Micheline) of Ottawa. He will be missed by his extended family, nieces, nephews and friends. Art graduated from UBC Pharmacy and initially operated his own store – Speck’s Pharmacy in downtown Vancouver. After retiring from Eaton’s, Art found time to spend on his favourite hobbies; golfing and cheering for the BC Lions. His other interests included making Betty happy. He was known to reluctantly indulge her desire to travel; whether to visit friends and relatives, going on cruises or taking trips to Asia, Australia and Europe. A Service celebrating Art’s life will be held on Saturday, December 1st 2012 at 10:00am at Ocean View 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
