Aurelia Baldassarre

Aurelia Baldassarre passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband Rocco; her parents, Attilio and Assunta; her brothers Pasquale and Elio, and her sister Maria. She will be greatly missed by her family, children; Mario (Linda), Luciana (Richard), Tony (Heather); grandchildren; Brandon, Rocco, Stephanie, Amanda, Rob, Lucas, Adam, Paul, great-grandchildren: Jaclynne, Raven, Emma, Dominik, Sofia, Sylvester, Luciano, Vincent, Mario, BrynLee , Makenna and Bo and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Aurelia was born in Francavilla al Mare, Italy, June 2, 1930, and immigrated to Canada in 1957. She worked most of her life as a seamstress. She loved to travel with her husband Rocco and enjoyed seeing new places. Rest in peace, Aurelia. You will be in our hearts forever. The family wishes to extend their gratitude and appreciation for all the loving support and care Aurelia received from the staff at Buchanan Lodge and Sun Pointe Village during her time there. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 18 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, BC with entombment following at Ocean View Cemetery – South Mausoleum, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
