Bruna Pasqua Defend

Surrounded by her loving family, '˜Nonna' passed away peacefully shortly after her 91st Birthday. She was born in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Bruna was a long time member of the Lega Femminile Italiana aff. C.I.C. She is predeceased by her husband Mario (1974), her brother Angelo (2001), and her sister Giuliana (2011.) She is survived by her sister Maria in Italy; her 3 children: Luisa (Antonio), Paolo (Lorraine), and Danny (Brenda); grandchildren Stephanie (Othello), Tamarra, Deanna (George), Tennille, Adriano, Dustin, and Nicolas; great grandchildren Sebastian and Ava; and extended family in Vancouver and Italy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 S. Slocan St. Vancouver. Burial to follow at Ocean View Burial Park. Thank you to all the nurses and staff from Fraser Health Home Health Care and Burnaby Hospital, with a special thank you to Jasta and Elizabeth. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Our Lady of Sorrows Church would be greatly appreciated.
