October 20th, 1928 ~ September 29th, 2013
Bruno passed away peacefully in his sleep at Fairhaven retirement home, just a few weeks before his 85th birthday. Born in Treviso, Italy he came to Canada for a better life. With his wife Ida, they raised two children living in Burnaby. Dedicated to his family, Dad worked hard to provide for us, but always made time for Sunday picnics, his vegetable garden and playing bocce with his friends. He will be missed by his daughter Claudia, grandchildren Adrian and Mikayla and his two surviving brothers and their families. Dad had many close friends as he was always the person anyone could count on to lend a hand. Dad re-joins his loved ones; his wife Ida, his son Loris, two of his brothers and his parents. A Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Tuesday, October 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helen's Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby on Wednesday, October 16th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Burnaby.
