

Caring was born on October 20, 1939, in Hinatuan, Philippines. She will be remembered for her selfless heart, warm spirit, and remarkable ability to spark a conversation wherever she went. She was also known for her wonderful sense of humor, always bringing laughter into conversations and brightening the lives of those around her with her jokes, stories, and cheerful personality.
One of Caring’s greatest joys was keeping in touch with her relatives and loved ones in the Philippines through Facebook. She cherished every conversation, message, and shared memory, always finding happiness in staying connected with family no matter the distance. She also deeply cherished her beloved dog, Dunkin, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years.
Caring’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Carivic; her granddaughter, Victoria; her surviving sisters and brothers, Shirley, Nena, Adolfo, and Antonio; as well as the many relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched throughout her life.
Funeral services will be held on May 13 and 14, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM PST at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, Canada. Livestreaming will be provided later for those who cannot attend in person. Reception services will follow.
Mass, with livestreaming, will take place on May 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM PST at St. Mary’s Parish Church, followed by the burial service at Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park.
