

Carmelina was born in Amato, Catanzaro, Italy, and passed away in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia at the age of 83 years.
Carmelina was predeceased by her loving husband Natalino, her parents Giovanni (Maria) Franco, siblings Antonio Franco and Domenica (Salvatore) Chirico. She is survived by loving children, daughter Maria (John) Cimino, sons John (Nada) Aiello and Robert (Sylvia) Aiello, her 12 grandchildren Natalie (David), Cassandra (Franco), Amanda (Tyler), Julian (Lauren), Marco (Marina) , Antonio (Vittoria), 3 great grandchildren Anthony, Celeste, and Giordano, her brothers Joe (Antonietta) Franco, Frank (Lina) Franco, Tony Franco brother and sister in laws Antonio (Maria) Aiello, Vittoria Aiello, Maria (Salvatore) Stranieri, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends near and far!
The family would like to thank Nicola Lodge and the staff of the Alouette neighborhood, who gave Carmelina wonderful care and for the love and support provided to our family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum. A reception and Celebration of Life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall following the entombment.
Carmelina's generosity and love will be missed.
