Catarina has left us with fond memories of her warmth and hospitality. Her door was always opened, her table was always set.
She was exceptionally close with my own  mother Concetta, They were  cousins and "Amatese" soul mates that distance did not separate. We remember on  our visits when Catarina  would be growing herbs and botanical's in her garden and brewing healing teas for what might be ailing someone..
She will be sadly missed and always remembered and we offer our condolences to all those that held her in their esteem

Zia Caterina loved having family & friends visit with her. Her many trips abroad with Zio Joe to Argentina, Italy and in later years to Mexico and Hawaii. Zia Caterina & Zio Joe would always rent three bedroom accommodations so friends and relatives could come and visit and stay with them. 

There were many good times in the younger years with both Joe &  Caterina, when my mother (deceased) & father (Armando) loved to visit each other back & forth, I (daughter) have alot of fond memories as a child.  We wish the family & friends our condolences.

My mother and I, and our whole family, have such beautiful memories of our friendship with my Godmother, Caterina Gallucci. We lived close by in East Van for many years and visits with my Mom to my Godmother’s place were a frequent thing when I was young.  The three of us went shopping together and on most trips to the Field’s on Kingsway and Knight she would buy me a glazed donut at the bakery across the street. When I was older, she could be counted on for sage advice. Always listen to other people’s advice she said, but take your own counsel first. That was a gem. She was a fun and spirited woman. We miss her, and hold her memory in our hearts.
