Born on Vancouver Island on August 2, 1918 passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on April 18, 2014 at New Vista Care Home. She is survived by her granddaughters Chiyoko Jr. (Kevin) and Kiyomi (Andrew). Her strong and loving spirit will live on in the warm memories of those who loved her. She will always be remembered for her cute, charismatic charm and laughter. A small, intimate family gathering will take place at 2pm on Friday, April 25th at the Ocean View Funeral Chapel.
