I have never met anyone like Christina. She was the most positive person I have known on earth. Her cheerful personality and beautiful smile left a forever impression on me. She fought this battle gracefully. She cheered me on even when she did not feel the best. Every text message I got from her always made me laugh. Her humor, positivity, kindness, wisdom and maturity are what I remembered about her, now adding the talent of drawing! She was an inspiration to many, including me. She affected lives that she may not have realized. Even a friend of mine who had a short encounter with Christina remembered her like how I had known her. She had amazing energy she shared with people around her. I am lucky to have know her through these years. I love her three quotes. She will continue to live on in my heart. My sincere condolences to her loved ones. She is an angel in heaven now.

Christina was the loveliest and kindest person I have ever met. I was privileged to have known and worked with her and will always remember her beautiful smile and generous spirit. Always smiling, always willing to help others, never complaining and always making sure others were OK even when she was not. She lived her life with such grace.
My condolences to her family and especially her husband Edmond who was her rock.

I came to know Christina and Edmond through work, and even though I have not had chance to meet this lovely couple in person, Christina’s bravery, grace and positivity despite the many life battles that confronted her has left a very deep impression about her in me. I have not been as active as I used to be on this Facebook account that connects me with Christina and Edmond, but a few times when I was logged on to this FB account, I found myself addicted to the drawings that Christina did on her iPad. I have liked some of the drawings so much, that I told Christina I would like to use one of them as my profile picture somewhere, some day. I have actually been thinking about this again just a few days ago not knowing what has been happening with Christina, and when I am on FB again today trying to look for a friend’s birthday, I saw the sad news...

I know Christina’s beautiful soul will live on. I know she is now with God surrounded by love and all the beautiful things beyond what the world can imagine. Thank you for a beautiful life Christina. You had lived a beautiful life and had fought a courageous battle. Your beautiful soul will be remembered forever and ever. ❤️🙏🏻

Your friend whom you had never met in person,

Amazing. Beautiful. Strong. Intelligent. Talented. Humorous. Pure. Honest. Patient. Positive. Kind. Loving. Selfless. These words & many alike describe our Christina. She fought leukemia with grace, determination & positivity everyday for 17 years. In all this time, she never blamed anyone or felt sorry for herself - not once. Instead, she used this time to raise awareness about the disease, to educate the public about the importance of becoming a bone marrow donor & to fundraise for a cure. She not only did this to give herself a chance to live, but also, she wanted to help others. This is the kind of person Christina was - purely selfless. She was also always hopeful, yet she accepted her life’s journey. In spite of all the never-ending procedures, excruciating pain, countless side effects & ongoing setbacks she endured, she made every effort to live & to live her best life in whatever time she was given. She was truly an amazing human being and, she & her husband Edmond were amazing together. She always said she was grateful to Edmond for walking alongside her with care, compassion & everlasting love. We are so blessed to have been a part of her life. We love you Christina. You will continue to inspire & you will always have a special place in our hearts.
