Sam is survived by his wife, Angela Wang; children, Belinda Wang and Rhianne Wang; and grandchildren, Antony Wang and Christopher Tsui.
Sam was born on December 1, 1941, in Rongcheng, Shandong, Republic of China (R.O.C.) to Lien-Tseng Wang and Shih-Fang Chang. He graduated from the Republic of China Air Force Academy in 1964. He married Angela in 1967. After moving to Taipei, Sam began working for China Airlines as a senior captain on Boeing 747s. Over the next few years, the couple welcomed two children into their home. Sam and his family moved to Canada in 1992 and have made lasting memories and friendships.
A funeral is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sam's life. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Condolences can be sent to www.oceanviewfuneral.com.
