Claudia (Gasbarro) Ghostkeeper

With deep sorrow, the family of Claudia (Gasbarro) Ghostkeeper announces her sudden passing. Claudia is predeceased by her father, Gennaro Gasbarro and survived by her mother, Maria, husband, Randy, daughter, Isabel, sister, Laura (Daniel), brother, Giovanni (Marion), brother, Bruno (Maria), sisters-in-law, Jackie, Valerie and Marilyn, brothers-in-law, Colin and Jack, and many nieces and nephews.

Claudia was a kind, sweet, caring soul with a generous heart, fun-loving spirit and a deep devotion to her family. An eternal optimist, she always saw the best in people and appreciated the little joys in life. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an incredible smile that could light up a room. Claudia was also a talented artist, an impressive soccer player, and had a flair for baking, especially for family events. She loved taking nature walks but was just as happy being cozy at home watching one of her favorite movies. After an early retirement from sales and customer service, Claudia recently returned to college and was looking forward to a new career in hospitality. She was bright, thoughtful and compassionate and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Claudia will be dearly missed by all who had the honour of knowing her.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday October 3rd from 6-8pm at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Wednesday October 4th at 11am. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.
