With sadness, we announce the passing of Cynthia Sam (nee Yipp), on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Born May 2, 1931 in Victoria, BC, Cynthia is predeceased by parents Eva Lowe Yipp and Jack Yipp, and siblings May Fong, Margaret Louie, and Mildred Keen. Cynthia is survived and greatly missed by husband, Benny, and siblings Fred (Rowena) Yipp of Victoria, BC; Betty Ying of Calgary, Alta; Florence Chan of San Mateo, California, and Vivan Yipp. Cynthia is also fondly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel, Burnaby, BC at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012.
