Danilo Ballarin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Danilo Ballarin, on October 18th, 2015. Predeceased by his wife Lily, brother Mario, brother in law Joseph (Mary) and niece Lisa. Danilo is survived by his loving children Robert (Michelle), Lora, Chris (Carly), grandchildren Nico, Marco, Bianca, Alessandro and Stefano. Danilo is survived by his brother Pietro (Natalia), sister in law Angelina, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Danilo was born on April 18th, 1936, in Pianzano ,Italy. Danilo enjoyed friendly banter and the occasionally heated debate. He lived life to the fullest, and had a heart of gold. Danilo treasured times spent with family, and he cherished the moments with his grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd at 6PM followed by a funeral mass at 7PM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2025 Napier St. Vancouver, BC. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Royal Columbian Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Children Hospital.
