Mr. Darren Tyler Berg

BERG, Darren Tyler March 14, 1990 - October 16, 2011 Born in Vancouver and raised in Richmond, Darren passed away suddenly at the age of 21. He is survived by his loving family, parents Gary and Jill (Gilda) and sister, Rachel. Also by his beloved Grandmother, Flora Martinello, Aunts and Uncles Noris, Vic, Josie, Peter, Yolande, Frank, Carol, Dale, Anita, Dennis and Leonard. Cousins Jason (Nicole, Xavier), Derek, Rudy, Cory, Sidney, Michelle and Nicholas and many relatives and close friends. Darren was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces, having joined at the age of 16 and trained to become an Infantry Soldier. He served a tour of duty in the Kandahar region of Afghanistan from October, 2009 to May, 2010. Most recently, he was enrolled at BCIT working towards a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Darren's passions in life included fitness training, riding his motorcycle, dirt biking and, most of all, serving his country. Funeral service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, B.C. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1:30 pm.
