HUNTER, D. Sheldon – Passed away peacefully on August 5, 2011. Sheldon leaves behind his wife Beatrice, in-laws Donald and Cicely Carpenter and Dr. Charles and Patricia Carpenter and their families and cousins in Powell River.
Shel always enjoyed a good joke and wanted to be remembered as someone who had a profound respect for the infinite capacity of the human mind to resist the introduction of useful knowledge. He loved music and was very philanthropic, supporting many charitable organizations.
