It is with great sadness and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Domenico Antonio Bitonti on May 21, 2012 at the young age of 41 years, after a 17 month battle with a GBM brain tumor. Predeceased by his grandparents Domenico, Rosa, Pasquale, and Maria; his cousin Pino and his aunt Davida. Domenico will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Maria, father Franco, brothers Lino and Gianfranco, sister Rose (Aldo); nieces Alicia, Bianca and Nadia, nephew Nico and many relatives and friends in Italy and Canada. Prayers will be offered 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 24 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2025 Napier St. Vancouver, BC, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am on Friday, May 25th. Entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
