It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved Domenico De Santis, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025 in Vancouver, British Columbia at the age of 85 years old. Domenico was born in Cansano, L'Aquila, Italy. Domenico is survived by his loving wife Carolina, son Lino, daughter Rita and granddaughters Alicia and Selena and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in joining the Lord are his daughters, parents, siblings and nephews.
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm, Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. South Mausoleum. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Vincent's Langara Long Term Care facility and VGH for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Domenico's memory may be made to St. Vincent's Langara Long Term Care facility.
