

She was the daughter of Albert E Bishop and Mary Opal (Tibbutt). She was pre-deceased by her husbands John Sanders and Everette Gregoire, brothers Allison and Fred, sister Pearl, son Raymond, daughter Karen and daughter in law Margaret.
She is survived by son Ken (Barb), stepson Len (Barb), granddaughters Catherine (Drew), Lisa (Kevin), Rebecca (Joey) and Emily as well as six great grandchildren.
She had a lifelong passion for writing which resulted in the production of a number of plays for both radio and the stage in the 1980s. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Carnegie Centre in downtown Vancouver for over 17 years, teaching ESL and basic computer skills. She served as the secretary at Legion Manor in New Westminster while living there. At Century House in New Westminster, she was a volunteer in the computer lab and again taught ESL. Dora also served as the president of the Writers Discovery group also in New Westminster.
She made a difference wherever she was.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 24 at 12:30 at Ocean View Funeral Home in Burnaby with interment immediately following.
