Doris MacLean passed away on December 10, 2016 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by husband Jim, brother Walt Cowie. She is survived by her loving family, son Rob (Donna); grandchildren: Karen MacLean (Craig), Lea (Cliff) Shortreed, Steven (Sarah) MacLean; great-grandchildren: Louis, Carson, Cynthia, Carlie, Shauna, Christopher; brothers: Al Cowie, Pete Cowie, Ken Cowie; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Doris was born in and was a life long resident of Burnaby. She was a long time member of Burnaby Confederation Senior's Centre. She loved Bingo, the slot machines and knitting many items for charity.
