It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Cairns on October 1st, 2010. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents and four brothers. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Joy; her nephews, Craig (Mary), Brad (Rosanna), Michael (Teresa), Jaret (Beverley) and Rockland; and her niece, Maureen (Paul). Missing her are her great-nieces, Chelsey, Brittany and Sarah, and great-nephews, Brandon, Evan, Jesse and Jaret; and her many cousins and friends. A special thanks to Roy, her faithful friend and companion who gave her much happiness. We will cherish her memory always. A private family service will be held. A Memorial Tea will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 from 10:30 to 12:30.
