It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eileen Anne Jukich. A loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Eileen passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 22nd. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Roy Sr. and son, Roy Jr., and she is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Vito) and sons, Dan (Stephanie) and John (Elisa), as well as her grandchildren, Matthew, Courtney, Emily, Ashley, Camillia, Darian and great grandchild, Lincoln. Eileen was born in Strome, Alberta and was in the middle of a family of 15. She moved to Vancouver in 1949 where she met her late husband, Roy. An accomplished softball player, cook, seamstress, and hostess, she would always welcome visitors into her home. She loved her bowling, weekly bingo, card games (crib and 500), watching all sports, and a trip to the casino. Family and friends kept her feeling young.
