Ferruccio passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side. He was born and raised in Chiampo, Vicenza, Italy. Predeceased by his parents Massimina Costalunga and Domenico Facchin, sister Ida Dal Cengio, brothers Luigi, Primo and Guiseppe and cousin Antonio Facchin. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carmela (nee: Faedo), daughters Susie Facchin, Delia Bortignon (Louie) and Marzia Dungate (Cory), grandchildren Maria (Jason), Samantha, Jasmine, William, Brian and Christina, great grandaughter Aurora, sisters Rosina Facchin and Bertilla (Gabriele) Bertoldo and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10th.
