Georgie passed away peacefully in her sleep at St. Michael's Care Centre.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert Douglas (2015). She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Chuck); son, Bill (Shannon); their children: Kevin, Tara, Alison (Adam) and baby Madelynn; daughter, Susie; her children: Doug and Christina (Marc) and great-grandchildren, Aidan, Ciara and Kael.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Michael's for their compassionate care of Georgie over the last four years.
Dear Mom, forever in our hearts, thank you for being kind and generous with your love, time and wisdom. You will be greatly missed by all who's lives you've touched.
Celebration of Georgie's life will be held at South Burnaby United Church, 7591 Gray Avenue, Burnaby.
A short service followed by an afternoon tea on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 am.
