Francesco Giurleo

Born January 31, 1931, the only son to father Vincenzo Giurleo, mother Catarinia Cará (step-mother Angela Cará) in Mammola, Reggio Calabria, Italy. He is predeceased by sisters Filomena Giurleo and Rosa Giurleo. Survived by siblings, Concetta Giurleo and Nicodemo Giurleo.

Married to Angela Giurleo, he is predeceased by daughter Catarinia Giurleo, son Nicodemo Salvatore (Annunziata Scali - deceased). Survived by children Vincenzo Giurleo (Maria Giove), Umberto Giurleo (Patricia Reinheimer - deceased).

Predeceased by grandsons Francesco and Nicholas, and great-grandson Austin.

Francesco was a strong willing, hard worker and loved to drink his homemade wine surrounded by his beautiful family and friends. He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation for Francesco will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier St, Vancouver, BC V5L 2N8. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at12:30 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J 1A4.
