Peacefully passed away on Easter Sunday April 16, 2017 with family by his side. Franco was born in Cento, Italy on April 29,1930 and is survived by his loving wife of nearly 66 years Angela, his 2 children Paola (Feliciano), Paolo (Tammy), Grandchildren Sabrina (Ben), Marco (Anna), Franco (Jr) and Anthony. His great grandchildren Erik, Noah, Mariangela and Michela. Franco was very proud of his Italian heritage evidenced by being a founding member of the Associazione dei Carabinieri, founding member of the Emilia Romagna, a member of the Italian Cultural Center and honorary member of the Ital-Canadian Rod and Gun club. Family first, strength, courage, integrity, loyalty and generosity best described Franco. But alas, after a hard fought 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s, his flame was extinguished. All who knew you will miss you. 10am Mass to be held on April 26th at St. Francis of Assisi (Napier St) followed by Entombment and reception at Ocean View Cemetery, Burnaby
