Mr. Gary Grainger Turner

Turner-Gary Grainger. Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan September 28, 1930 to Tom and Maud Turner and passed away with his family by his side on January 14, 2007. His family announces with great sorrow, disbelief and sadness the sudden passing of their loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife Pat ("The Wife") of 53 years; children Cathie (Tom), Ken (Brenda), Ron, Ray (Haley), Patty (John); twelve grandchildren Derek, Stephanie, Russell, Brent, Luke, Tamara, Clayton, Samantha, Nicholas, Scott, Jake, Sammi and many other family and friends. As second generation of Turner Brothers, Gary built up a very successful business before his retirement in 1993. He was a long time member of the wall and ceiling association. Up until his passing his favorite pastimes were curling and golfing. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and loving generosity to his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the S.P.C.A. Visitation will take place on Monday January 22nd from 7pm to 9pm Ocean View Funeral Home 4000 Imperial Steet Burnaby where a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday January 23rd at 2pm in the chapel of Ocean View Funeral Home.
