Dear Cristina, it is with profound sadness we hear of Frank's passing and with great remorse in not being able to attend his celebration of life. Unfortunately the recent loss of our daughter in law Anna Bevilacqua-Ialungo prevented us from doing so. I considered Frank not just a client during the years at Vito's Texaco but a friend and an honourable man. I would like to take a few lines to express how much I thought of him; he came in one day and told me he wanted to be my client on account for he was not satisfied with the lack of service at the previous place. My reply was of course yes, but he went on to say Vito I have to be honest with you in my line of work we often have to wait a long time in order to get paid. Right away I cringed a bit and I guess Frank could see it. He put a hand on my shoulder and said to me don't worry 'I Give You My Word' you will be paid but I would appreciate it very much if you could just be flexible for a few days. He kept his word and I have never forgotten them. In my professional life I was blessed to have known a lot of nice people but frank stood out amongst the best. After we both retired I came across Frank at Curtis lumber one fateful day, I told him I was ready to paint the inside of the new house on Napier St and without hesitation he offered to come over to give me a hand'¦ God bless you and all of your family Frank and may God grant you eternal peace in his loving arms '¦.
