It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gin Foo Chan, a beloved husband and father, on Friday, November 29, 2024 in Vancouver, BC. He was 93 years old. Gin Foo was born in Canton, China on December 7, 1930.
Gin Foo is survived by his wife Yan Ying, son Wayneson (Apeksha), and daughter Jane Lynn (Jake).
A viewing for Gin Foo will be held on Monday, December 9th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, while the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10th from 10:00am to 11:00am. Both these will be held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC. Following this, a committal service will occur on Tuesday, December 10th at 11:30am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Please find details below.
