PAPAGNI, Giovanna Passed away on Friday, May 6 2011, at the age of 88 years old. Born in Bisceglie, Bari, Italy May 8, 1923. She is predeceased by her husband Francesco Papagni. Giovanna is survived by her loving family, Son Mauro (Silvana) Papagni, Daughter Lina (Pietro) Preziosa, Grandchildren Franco (Sabrina) Preziosa, Adriano Papagni, Paolo Preziosa, Miranda Papagni (Costa Rojas), Great-Grandchildren Chiara Preziosa, Brother Giuseppe (Maria) Pugliese in Italy, Nieces and Nephews Mary (Franco) Falco, Angela Falco (Alan Speirs), Mike (Simone) Falco, Nick Simone. And many nieces and nephews in Italy. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 11th, 2011, at 7:00 PM at Holy Cross Parish at 1450 Delta Avenue Burnaby, BC. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Parish. Entombment to follow at 2:00 PM, Abbey Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
