Passed away suddenly on February 18, 2010 at the young age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Maria. Survived by his children: Antonietta (Tony), Romeo (Maria), Carmine (Linda), Peter (Julie); grandchildren: Lina (Rob), Gianfranco, Pina, Brian (Kelly), Jason (Melissa) Jeremy (Janah), Joey (Sarah), Michael (Sarah), Felicia, Amanda, Jordan; great grandchildren: Natasha, Hailey, Michael, Vincenzo, Domenic, Sienna, Luca, Mikaela and Matteo; brothers Giovanni (Giuseppina), Pasquale in Holland, and sister-in-law Filomena in Switzerland and many nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. from St. Helen's Catholic Church 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at the Ocean View Abbey Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Joe's memory would be appreciated.
