April 12, 1951 - February 11, 2026
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Glenn Sherman Hart. Born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Glenn was the sole child of David and Isobel Hart. Glenn grew up in North Burnaby, where he attended Westridge Elementary, Kensington Junior and Burnaby North Senior Secondary Schools. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours at Simon Fraser University and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Glenn had a sharp mind and even well into the illness he bravely endured this past year, was able to complete a Wordle faster than anyone else. He was a talented writer and always had a thirst for knowledge.
Glenn loved his family deeply and was there to support and nurture them as best he could in their pursuits of sports, academics, and life. He was a cheerleader on Team Hart. When grandchildren, Daniel and Victoria came along he was a big part of their lives as “busy little ones”. Glenn had a very loving heart for all creatures great and small. His boyhood dog, Lady, and cats, Blackie and Pedro, were the first animals he cared for and the catalyst for his future career.
He leaves a loving wife of 52 years, Heather, daughter Eryn (Al), son Jonathan (Rosa) and his beloved grandchildren Daniel and Victoria. He is also survived by brother-in-law Ron Pizzolon (Nicole), nieces Lauren, Kandyce, and Rachele, and cousins in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 2pm at St. Faith’s Anglican Church, 7284 Cypress St, Vancouver.
