December 26, 1927 - February 12, 2012
Glenn passed away peacefully in New Westminster on February 12, 2012 after a brave battle with ALS. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 55 years Edith, daughter Eileen (Tom), sons Lyle (Maureen) and Brian, grandchildren Stephanie (Jon), Marielle, Kelly, Sean, Kaitlyn and Jocelyn, and great-grandson Nolan. Glenn spent his working years in public service, first as a land surveyor travelling British Columbia and then as a respected mathematics and geography teacher, with many teaching years spent at David Thompson Secondary in Vancouver. Glenn, a United Empire Loyalist, was a tireless genealogical researcher and author of the Robinson Family Genealogy. His post-retirement life also saw numerous volunteer hours as a dedicated Block Watch captain, avid gardener, and neighbourhood handyman, the memories of which his family (near and far), friends and neighbours will always cherish. Please consider making a donation to the ALS Society of British Columbia in lieu of flowers.
