Mr. Glenn Garry Smith

Died July 3, 2015 in Vancouver, B.C.

Survived by wife of 44 years Leda, daughter Fara and husband Nick Curry, treasured grand-daughter Ashlyn, sister Kim and husband Phil Jones and brother Robert and wife Elizabeth Smith. He will also be remembered by nieces and nephews – Bobb Gourley, Brian Smith, Melanie McMurphy, Susie Edgar, David Gelley and Maria Christina Sain; in-laws Antonia & Gino Sain, Edward and Pilar Sain.

Pre-deceased by his parents, Dorothy and Donald Smith and brother Brian.

Glenn’s life was rich in wonderful adventures having lived in Vancouver and in the Yukon Territory. His experiences include drumming for Scottish Pipe Bands, dance instructing, child counselling, diamond drilling and carpentry. His favourite activities involved having fun on the golf course, travelling and spending fun times with friends and family.

A time of gathering to celebrate Glenn’s life will be held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Chapel at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. V5G 3M1 at 1:00 p.m.
