Our family  was in awe  at the legend  that Glenn  was...The service  was  attended  bye  so many people  that quietly  shared  the Glenn  stories in a room  that he would have loved  to  hold court  in. The memories  of his journey  in life was shared  so wonderfully with a slideshow  that his family  had prepared  and shared  with all in attendance. It truly  is  amazing  that this humble  Gentleman  had touched  so many  people  over his compressed  life thyme. His footprint  will be forever  remembered  at our little  peace  of  heaven...our family  Nursery...We are sure that Glenn  has a seat at the head table  in his new Heaven....We will  raise  a  glass  to you often  my friend....The Beattie  Clan...

Dear Jennifer and Angela, I got to know your sweet dad over the years, living at Iron Mountain. 
I believe he is now at home in Heaven where there is "no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these pains are gone forever". Revelation 21:3.
When our dear Glen left the earth on August 24th, 2019 (which is my anniversary) I believe that my husband Michael (who took off to Heaven 11 years ago), was in the Welcoming Home Party to Heaven with Jesus and the Angels!!!

I had the pleasure  of  meeting  Glenn  about  5 years ago....he slowly  became  a huge part of our family  businesses...and continued  to amaze  us  how he could solve problems  around  the  yard...fix a truck...build  a shed...load our customers  with the bobcat...or politely  answer  the phone....he truly  was one in a million....going to miss that little  black truck rolling  down  the  road  to the back of the nursery...Cheers  my friend...see ya on the other side...Stephen  & Ingrid....

So sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. He was on my mind lately as I was talking about him with another Class of '69 member as we talked about our 50 year reunion. I hadn't seen Glenn since probably the mid '70s. My last memory is of watching the Miss Community Gardens Pageant with him in Kensington. My classmate mentioned playing hockey with him and I was interested to know that he was still playing these last few years. My condolences to all his family.

My double cousin Glennie loved to tell funny jokes and stories and had a great laugh. I heard it several times while he was teaching me to drive the tractor and plough the fields! I have many special memories of Glennie that I'll keep close – he'll be dearly missed. Thinking about you, Angela and Jenn, during this difficult time.

Our sincere condolences to Glenn's family and friends. Glenn was one of the best employees who ever worked for me. I was fortunate  enough to work with him for 16 years and he was always extremely professional in all of his duties. I had to many laughs and  enjoyable conversations to list. Upon leaving Summit Glenn became our tax  accountant and as he did with everything he was fantastic and beyond professional .He was simply an awesome person and we are truly saddened by his passing. I am sure he is up in the sky playing hockey and continuing on his legacy as an amazing human being.

To Susan, Tommy and family members.  Sending my sincere condolences with Glen’s passing. Although it has been years I remember the humour and fun tricks Glen and Tom would pull every time  I visited Susan at their PEI farm in Indian River.They even disconnected the starter of my car once . I can still hear the laughter as I tried to leave and could not figure out why the car would not start. Always laughter with harmless fun  especially at sit down meals. Sending thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

I first met Glen not too many years ago as a Statesman & every year since in various Hockey Leagues.  We found a connection to PEI.  
The Statesmen  Hockey Club ,for one, will sure miss Glen.  He played as a regular years ago and came back as a spare to help us out all last year. We could always rely on Glen and enjoyed his humour. He loved his hockey.  He loved a beer with the boys, and we regret no longer being able to enjoy his presence on the ice and at our gatherings. 10 current regulars & 10 team alumni raised a glass to him at our last reunion.  He would have been there himself; instead his great company was honoured.   Sincere condolences to all his friends & family

I was so very sorry to hear of Glennie's passing.  I have such great memories of him on the farm when we would visit - when I was very young he convinced me it snowed red to match the soil!  And he always had a twinkle in his eye, especially when he was up to something (like him and Tom tying my arms to the dining room chair at dinner!).  My sincere condolences to his daughters and family; may your memories bring you comfort at this sad time.  I will  always remember him with a smile.

Really enjoyed working with Glenn, super helpful and fun to be around. After work was usually even more fun. Will miss your sense of humor pal.

So many happy thoughts of young Glennie on the farm with his brother and sisters.  Best memory of Glennie was the day  he drove us around P.E.I.,  then we all went to a church lobster supper, and we celebrated his mother's birthday the following day. (2011)
