I met Goran years ago through the Audi URSx club , based in Vancouver. Sorry to hear he has passed. I would only say that he was a very proud club member, great to know  and will be greatly missed. My condolences to his wife and kids.

We are all still in shock that you are no longer with us, it is unfortunate that it is under such sad circumstances that I am sharing my thoughts and prayers with you and your family for you were taken far to soon for anyone to grasp. You were a great, kind, happy and funny individual who everyone enjoyed being around and working with. I know you will be watching over your family and loved ones from above and all your union brothers and sisters will be looking out for them from down here. May you forever rest in peace. Goran-the great human being, the great millwright, an amazing friend, a very well respected person, the person with the most beautiful smile. I am still in shock by hearing this news, I feel like I lost something very important and dear to my heart. I will miss him greatly on every single nightshift, and the feeling of happiness that I would have, when I used to see his name on the dispatch sheet. I know that I will remember and miss Goran for the rest of my life. My heart is filled with grief, and my most deepest condolences to family and friends.

Goran the millwright, that's how I would often address him because he wasn't just a good millwright but also a good human being. We often had deep discussions about many aspects of life, either family just work or people in general or health. I still cannot believe that he has passed on so quick and I will always cherish the time and memories that I was fortunate to spend with him. 
                             It's one of the most painful times for the family when the loved one is gone. This is also the time to come together and share the grief. My humble condolences to all the family and friends. He was a great guy and a good tradesman, I will always miss his upbeat attitude, wisdom and soft speaking. Thank you.

I had the privilege of getting to know Goran when he started working at the waterfront and we did many jobs together at different work sites. He was highly skilled as a millwright and machinist no matter how difficult or ugly the job we were able to complete each task. He lived his life with the utmost of integrity and was well respected by everyone who came into contact with him.
He loved his family and when his cell phone would ring their pictures were on the screen.Often he talked of how proud he was of them and loved them with all his heart.
He was the King of Tomatoes growing the largest tomatoes I have ever seen often he would bring  seedlings or tomatoes to his friends at work.We discussed our gardening projects and shared our life experiences.

You will be really missed by all who know you as a friend, my life was enriched by your company and conversation.

I offer my deepest sympathy  to his family.

The news of Gorans passing has left me numb.
He became a friend, mentor while his Horizontal was at Delta..
He shared his experiences and knowledge freely with me..
I owe him a debt of gratitude for that..

My condolences to the Đašić family. 

Goran was one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with and spend a little bit of time with. 

He always did his best and never left anything half done. A proper tradesman “of the old school”. 

His many jokes and funny remarks kept us in good spirits through many a challenging job. He enjoyed chatting with my little Katarina on speaker phone when she would call me before her bed time!

He was a private man, but he often let me know he was very proud of his family, and felt great satisfaction in their successes. His phone always had a picture of him at home with them on the screen.

Goran would often get me out to shifts, after I’d given up, with his timely phone call reminders. “ Get down here, Martine,  there’s work!” He even gave me a couple of shifts when it was slow for me. His decency was of the type you just don’t see much of anymore.  I’ll be sure to pay that forward for him when I get the opportunity.
