Mr. Gordon Yiu Kei Au

With deep longing and remembrance, we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Gordon Yiu Kei Au. Born in Hong Kong on September 18, 1936, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on July 4, 2025, at the age of 88.

Gordon is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lori, and their children: Henry (Kristen) and Jim (Lisa). He was a proud grandfather to his four grandchildren: Elijah, Natalya, Kaylee, and Khloe.

The family extends their sincerest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Vancouver General Hospital for their extended care.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby BC. A burial will follow the service. Gordon’s wishes were for joy and happiness for his family and friends – please know that wearing black to the service is optional.

Donations in Gordon’s memory can be made to the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is BC and the Yukon’s only pediatric palliative care provider. Gordon於一九三六年,九月十八日在香港出生。

在二零二五年七月四日在家人陪伴下，安詳離世，享年八十八歲。

Gordon留下了結婚五十六年的摯愛妻子Lori。

長子Henry和媳婦Kristen及他們的孩子Elijah和Natalya。

次子Jim和媳婦Lisa及他們的女兒Kaylee和Khloe。

Gordon家人誠意向溫哥華總醫院的醫生,護士和全體工作人員致上最誠摯的謝意，感謝他們多日來的悉心照料。

葬禮將於二零二五年七月十六日星期三上午九時三十分在於Forest Lawn Funeral Home + Chapel舉行。

儀式結来後將舉行安葬禮。

Gordon的願望是為家人和朋友帶來歡樂和幸福感，衣著隨意。 謝謝合作。
