Gordon Lloyd Goff, aged 79 years, a longtime resident of Vancouver British Columbia, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 29th 2015. Gordon was born in Calgary Alberta, moved with his parents to Vancouver as a boy, where he resided until his passing. His love of sports had him involved in many amateur sports Lacrosse , fast pitch, and soccer to name a few, Gordon retired from Canada Customs after 35 years of service. He then soon grew bored with retirement and started his own business doing income tax. He loved to travel especially by train and shared that love with two of his grandchildren. Surviving him are his son and daughter Conrad Goff and Kim (Andy Nuessler). Grandson Christopher Armour, Granddaughters Janelle Nuessler, and Melissa Armour (Sean Kavanagh) and Great granddaughter Payton. All will miss him very much. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St Burnaby BC at 10.00 am Friday February 6th 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
