Guerino Carnovale

With deepest sorrow we announce that Guerino Carnovale passed away peacefully on March 12, 2020, at 99 years of age. Guerino is survived by his loving wife Carmela Carnovale. He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Anna, sisters, Santa, and Victtoria. He will be deeply missed by sister Liberata and by his children Giuseppe (Debbie), Domenic, Annita (Vince), and Frank (Pattie). As well as grandchildren Nicole (Matt), Kristin (Matt), Stephanie (Mike), Nicholas, Michael, Mark (Amanda), Christina (Ryan), Sasha (Darius), Alexis, Lauren (Vince), and Great Grandchildren, Gianluca, Charlotte, Zachary, and Mason, and many family and friends in Canada and Italy. Close to his heart was his strong belief, knowing he would be resting peacefully “Guardando Mare Suo Loggia “. Guerino will be remembered for his strong appreciation in faith, family and life. The Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all his wonderful caregivers at St. Paul’s and Mount St. Joseph’s hospitals, as well as Bloom Cottage Hospice. Viewing will take place on Wednesday March 18, 2020 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Thursday March 19th, 2020 at 12:30 pm at St. Francis of Assisi, Catholic Church, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow at South Mausoleum, Ocean View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Cuccione Childhood Cancer Foundation.
