Mrs. Ha Choi Wong

Ha Choi was predeceased by her husband, Chi Chun, who passed away on April 23, 2013 and her eldest son Jimmy, who passed away June 25, 1970.

She was born (Gin) Ha Choi on February 17, 1925 in Toisan, China. She immigrated to Canada in September, 1968 along with her family and eventually settled down in East Vancouver.

She is survived by her 9 children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Ha Choi was energetic, hard-working, and a dedicated mother who devoted her life to raising her children. She was committed to strong family values and played a significant supportive role in raising her many grandchildren. In her later years of retirement, she and her husband traveled abroad to China, Southeast Asia and the United States with friends and family members. It meant a great deal for her to meet some of her relatives in Singapore.

The family would like to thank S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Simon K Y Lee Senior Care Home for their attentive care during her last few years. Our gratitude goes out to Ms. Wing Wong and her aunt Li Wong for their dedicated care.
