A memorial service for Hugh will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1.
Hugh was preceded in passing by his siblings John Smith, Charles Haggarty, Jim Haggarty, and Frank Haggarty.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn Yap Tipon, his children Connie Giner, Diane Brelsford, Dionisio Tipon, Evans Tipon, Evie Tipon, Ever Tipon, Elaine Mueller, Joyce Redman, Lynnevic Tipon, Sean Haggarty, and William Haggarty, his 22 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren, and his siblings May Haggarty, Tommy Haggarty, and Jean Haggarty.
