Ida Coppola

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Ida Coppola on January 4, 2025, at the age of 93. Surrounded by her devoted family in the comfort of her home, Ida’s life was a testament to love, resilience, selflessness and unwavering strength.

Ida was predeceased by her cherished siblings Francesco, Ettore, Emilio, Alberto, Ada, and Edda. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, lovingly remembered by her sister Gina, brother Mike, sister-in-law Silvia, and numerous nieces and nephews in Vancouver and Italy.

Ida was a guiding light to her family, a source of wisdom and unconditional family love. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Special thanks go to her brother Michele, sister-in-law Silvia, and family members Giuseppe, Stephanie (Nick), and Michele Jr., whose boundless devotion ensured Ida was cared for with dignity, endless laughter, love and compassion.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum, Burnaby, BC. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.bellburnaby.com.
