It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Ileen Helen Doyle. Predeceased by her parents William and Grace Robinson, husband Leonard John Doyle, and granddaughter Amber May Doyle, Ileen is survived by her children Ileen Lang, Leonard Doyle (Roberta), Marlene Cornish (Barry Leswick), and Don Doyle (Diane). She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grand children.
The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the staff of Royal Columbian Hospital, 6 North, for the care, kindness and compassion shown towards Ileen during her last days.
A memorial will be held Saturday, January 24th at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation at www.rchcares.com or 604 520 4438.
